381A Molony Cup H'cap S'chase
The Raceday Stewards fined J.P. Flavin, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared cheekpieces to Aclass prior to entering the parade ring.
Brian Barry, rider of Coffeys Forge, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tired from the home turn to the last fence .
381B Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Willywampus trained by Eamon Courtney was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.
C.M Hogan, rider of Willywampus, trained by Eamon Courtney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.P. Kelly, rider of Roxhill Roise, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. A.P. Kelly stated that his mount was hanging badly right and he used his whip down the shoulder after the last fence for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards accepted A.P. Kellys explanation regarding his use of the whip but were of the opinion that he was in breach of Rule 213 (failing to make a report) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday.

D. Robinson, rider of Mistyburn, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was onepaced.
381C2 William Hill Challenge Series M'dn HdleAt the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.D. Torrens, rider of Mojoe, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran too keen in the early stages and just stayed on one paced.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Moon Mission (GB), ridden by T. Power Roche, and trained by P.J. Rothwell with particular emphasis on his riding from the second last hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider and the trainers Authorised Representative concerned. T. Power Roche, stated that his instructions were to drop in, not to move until the top of the hill and to do the best he could. He further added that his mount jumped well but that he made a mistake at the third last hurdle after which he gave it time to recover. When questioned on his riding from the second last hurdle and in particular his use of the whip, he felt he had given it a strong ride and had flicked the horse with his whip. David Nolan, Authorised Representative for P.J. Rothwell, confirmed the instructions and on speaking to the trainer expressed their satisfaction with the ride. He further added that he felt that the animal was very tired post race and did not feel the horse would have finished any closer with a stronger ride. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that the animal was post race normal and samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted their explanations.
381G I.S.F. EBF (Mares) INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards enquired from Mr S.J. Kenny rider of Lockeen Rose, who fell on the flat before the turn into the home straight on the final circuit. The rider reported that his mount stumbled and fell independently of any other horse. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the incident in the presence of Mr S.J. Kenny, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
